Good news: The group standard for "Die Casting Aluminum Alloy" has passed expert review

On October 16, 2020, the group standard review meeting for "Die Casting Aluminum Alloy" by the China Foundry Association was held at the Ruili Hotel in Shanghai Automotive City. Nine experts, including Qiangyi Director of China Automotive Certification Center and Chen Runing Director of Suzhou Chunxing Precision Industry Co., Ltd., conducted a detailed review of this standard item by item. They unanimously agreed that the group standard for "Die Casting Aluminum Alloy" has reached the national advanced level and unanimously agreed that this standard has passed the review.

The group standard for "Die Casting Aluminum Alloy" is composed of Shandong Jin'ertai Precision Die Casting Co., Ltd., Jintuo Technology Co., Ltd., Suzhou Yadelin Co., Ltd., Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang Wantai Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd., Shuaiyichi Aluminum Alloy New Materials Co., Ltd., Chongqing Yujiang Die Casting Co., Ltd., Wuhu Shunfu Precision Die Casting Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Yongmaotai Automotive Parts Co., Ltd Lanxi Boyuan Metal Co., Ltd., Chongqing Shunduoli Locomotive Co., Ltd., Xudong Automotive Parts Manufacturing (Nantong) Co., Ltd., Jinan Huicheng Casting Co., Ltd., and Shandong Foundry Association jointly drafted a comprehensive and meticulous work for 2 years. Compared with GB/T 15115-2009, it innovatively added material grades YL102a, YL101a, and YL113a, And reference indicators were provided for the chemical composition and mechanical properties of aluminum alloys used in some die-casting structural components. The group standard of "Die Casting Aluminum Alloy" will play a positive role in promoting the wider application of die casting alloy grades in China and leading the high-end development of die casting aluminum alloys in China.
